There are two parts to
turning your music over to Sunset with our "A&R Submittal"
tool.
One part is getting us
the text copy information about your material
and the second
part is uploading your music.
We recommend that you send us
no more than THREE (3) songs per music artist and/or band for us to review
at a time.
Please note that the preferred format for all song files
that get submitted to Sunset is MP3.
We do
accept WMA, WAV and AAA formatted songs files.
If you do want to send
an entire CD worth of material,
we will then need you to
save & compress all of your songs into one ZIP file.
Please read below on
the ways to save the file name to our A&R system.

First, please
click here to fill out this very short and specific form telling us about the
music that
you are now delivering to our A&R department at Sunset.
Please save that Word Document as the name of your band and as
your artist name
because you will need to upload that file before uploading any of
your songs.
Next, please upload this word document to our server. This must be
uploaded before you send along your music.
Please click the browse button just below this text to guide
yourself to the saved word file that is now saved as your band
name.
Click Submit which will take you to the Thank You Page.
Click on the link that will get you back to this exact page or
click the BACK button on your
Windows Browser before you begin to now upload your music.
Please note that all music files must be saved and named a
specific way:
Please Save all Song Files as follows: 01_Song_ Name_Band_Name.MP3
(Please separate all words with the underscore text feature on
your keyboard.
Please Save any ZIP Files as follows: CD_Name_Band_Name.ZIP
(Please separate all words with the underscore text feature on
your keyboard.
Then, to upload you music after you fill out and submit your word
file with the song and band information,
please click the BROWSE button again which is just below this text.
Please then guide
yourself
through your own hard drive to find the music file that wish to
upload through our automated A&R Submittal tool.
Please note that the preferred format for all song files
that get submitted to Sunset is MP3.
We do
accept WMA, WAV and AAA formatted songs files.
This upload may take up to a few minutes depending on your
machine.
The entire upload process could take up to two to three minutes
per song and many minutes per ZIP file even on the highest
broadband Internet Connection.
Please have patience when uploading your song files and ZIP file.
